Are these genuine parts?

Yes. These are manufacturer-produced parts, not reproductions or aftermarket copies unless a listing says otherwise. What makes them surplus is how they reached us — auction, clearance or liquidation — rather than through the manufacturer's distribution chain.

If it is unused, why is it not sold as new?

Some of it is. A part still sealed in its original packaging is listed as new. A part whose box has been opened is not, even if the part itself has never been fitted, because we cannot verify an opened package to the same standard. See how we grade condition.

Why is there only one of most things?

Because that is what surplus is. Inventory is bought as it becomes available, in whatever quantity happens to exist. We do not restock — when a particular part sells, the listing is finished rather than replenished.

Will this part fit my machine?

Match on the manufacturer part number, not on the description. Listings carry the manufacturer and part number, and where the source data provides them, interchange and superseded numbers. Where an application table is shown, treat it as a guide and confirm against your own machine's specification before ordering.

The packaging looks old. Is that a problem?

It is expected. New old stock has often been on a shelf for years. Boxes may be faded, marked, or replaced with plain packaging, and date codes reflect when the part was made. None of that affects the part itself.

Does it come with a manufacturer warranty?

No. We are an independent reseller and parts here did not come through the manufacturer's distribution chain, so a manufacturer's warranty does not apply.
